COVID-19 UPDATE
The HDFC is keen to return to some sense of normality as we learn to live with the Covid-19 virus. As from Saturday 11th September all flying activities will resume along with the regular social events. All members are expected to conform to the current state government guidelines whilst attending the club.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The postponed AGM will now occur on Wednesday 22nd September commencing 7pm at HDFC clubhouse. A new committee will be elected along with reports from the President and Treasurer. A hot topic for discussion will be “A New Aircraft”. Have your say by attending this important meeting.
MEMBERSHIP
The HDFC membership renewal window is closing soon. Those intending to rejoin but have not already done so, should make it a matter of priority. Continued membership is subject to payment of the renewal invoice. Anyone not receiving a renewal invoice should make contact with Treasurer Dave at treasurer@hdfc.com.au.
FRIDAY SOCIALISING
Friday night drinks and socialising will recommence this Friday 17th September. The bar opens at 5pm with all members and friends most welcome.
PILOT PROFICIENCY DAY
The September PPD will be conducted next Sunday 19th September. A steak/sausage sandwich lunch will be available around noon at a cost of $5. All welcome.
AIRCRAFT WASHING
The aircraft washing roster is now reactivated.

The Hastings District Flying Club is where people who believe in your flying dreams come together since 1958. HDFC has a long and proud history dating back to 1958. It operates a flying club and Recreational Aviation flying school out of Port Macquarie on the New South Wales Mid North Coast, with a hangar and club house at the airport.
